Oh my goodness!!! It has been way too long since I’ve posted on this blog. I’ve been posting on our Facebook and Instagram, so if you don’t, make sure to follow us there. This summer has been so focused on growing my business since I left BlogPaws. For those that don’t know, I’m now doing my side hustle full-time! To get that where it needs to be, I’ve taken a little bit of time away from posting here as often. I’ve been in launch mode with my new group mastermind program at Irresistible YOUniversity among many other things! Anyways, back to what you came here for…Chuy’s adventures!
Chuy and I have been making some time to go on our adventures this summer. I’m going to be sharing some of those with you! Today, let’s start with a quick walk we did at Great Bridge Battlefield & Waterways Historic Park in Chesapeake, VA a few weekends ago.
I grew up in the Great Bridge area and this park didn’t exist back in the day. This is pretty new and it’s nice. Not an all day adventure but good for an hour or two.
It’s pretty cool what they have built as there is a nice trail around the water and woods. Plus, there are some historical monuments with a paved path. They also have several picnic areas by the water where you can watch the boats going through the locks.
The trail that goes around the Intracoastal Waterway was really nice and the view was amazing. It goes around in a big loop.
When we got to the other side that’s completely in the woods, the mosquitoes were out of control!!! We went from having a nice walk to trying to get out of there as quick as possible. Another reason that I’m so ready for summer to end. Plus, it was HOT as hell outside!
This was the end of our walk and Chuy was HOT! We stopped to take a break in front of the Battle of Great Bridge statue.
Of course, Catalina was there too. She loves being outside, exploring. Oh and she’s totally obsessed with Chuy and ALL animals. <mission accomplished lol>
What have you been up to this summer? Tell me all about it in the comments below!!!
