Chihuahua with a Mustache Painting–Irresistible Find at Target!

Why does every Target trip seem to go like this?

I just need toothpaste, shampoo, and trashbags.

BUT, you walk out $100 poorer, and with a cart full of home décor, earrings, and some other useless crap that you just had to have because it was too irresistible to pass up?

Yea, that’s me. Every. Single. Time.

I went last night for Oil of Olay and a few groceries. A FEW!!!

I walked out with this $20 Chihuahua with a Mustache painting! Of course, Target would have a painting of a Chihuahua wearing glasses with a mustache painted over his face. Where else?!?!

I mean, I couldn’t pass it up. It looks just like Chuy (if he was brown?) AND it goes with the colors in our home. It was meant for us!!!

I decided to start a photo collage going up my staircase of Chuy and thought this would be an awesome print to break up the “real” pics and show off some of our humor when people come into our home! The wall is still a work in progress (actually I just started it lol) but I’ll be sure to post some more once it’s completed.

I like how the background of the painting contrasts with our accent wall on the other side! Which, is also a photo collage work in progress of our wedding pics, friends, family….Ugh, I need to get on that.

Chuy was lounging on the stairs, so I took some shots of him. Maybe those will look cute framed for the wall. Hmmm.

I searched high and low for this on the Target website and couldn’t find it for sale online. I guess it’s only in-stores right now. I found it in a “special” section near the wall décor section. Oh and it was still an “irresistible” deal at just $19.99! Now that I sound like an infomercial, I’m off to put together another blog post!
