You know those days where you decide to try something new and it ends up being the perfect day in every single way? That was how last Saturday was for us. On Saturday, we took a little road trip (about an hour away) out to Smithfield, Virginia and visited Windsor Castle Park, Smithfield Station, and had an amazing lunch at Captain Chuck-a-Mucks. I LOVE establishments that cater to dogs! It was 70 degrees in February, so we had an amazing, much needed day outdoors.
Here are a few pics of our adventure with Chuy. Head over to The Hampton Roads Dog Blog for our Ultimate Dog Friendly Guide to Smithfield, Virginia.

Looks like a fun day! That photo of Chuy at the table is so sweet. I love how you always capture all the family adventure and love! You really rock as a pet parent! (-:

Looks like it was a lovely day for a family outing! π I’m hoping to take Nailah out again soon (we just went to a local attraction called the Coral Castle) but it always requires a lot of planning. We don’t live in a very dog friendly city π

Wow! What a beautiful day. We’ve never been that far east, but Smithfield, Virginia sounds like a lovely place. π

What a fun adventure! Chuy seemed to enjoy every moment. I really liked the photo where Chuy was seating at the table; so cute and well behaved.
