Instructions
These instructions are based on the DIY Patriotic Pupsicles that I created in this picture. If you want to learn more, keep reading!
Note – Always ensure your pet is not allergic before introducing any new food into their diet. If unsure, call your vet.
Directions
Step 1
Rinse strawberries and blueberries. Set aside.
Step 2
Cut stems off of strawberries.
Step 3
Mix 1/2 cup water and all 8 strawberries in the blender. Blend until liquefied. Repeat with Blueberries. (Mixing 1/4 cup Blueberries with 1/4 cup to 1/2 cup of water).Enjoy
Step 4
Pour Strawberry mixture into the popsicle mold first.
Step 5
Layer the plain yogurt on top of the strawberry, if you want a swirl effect like the ones I created. If you want them layered, freeze each layer first for about 15-30 minutes.
You can use my “cake decorating tip” technique to pour as seen in my DIY Frozen Luau Dog Treats post.
Step 6
Layer the Blueberry mixture on top of the yogurt.
Step 7
Insert the popsicle sticks.
Step 8
Freeze overnight.
Note – It may go without saying that these treats are not to be given to your dogs without supervision because of the sticks. You can hold the treat while they eat it. Be sure that they do not eat the stick!
Enjoy!
