Have you ever brought your dog to a baseball game? After my husband got out of school on Saturday, we took Chuy to go check out the Bark in the Park at Old Dominion University. Once a year they have a dog friendly baseball game. The last time we went was about two years ago.
I would have never gone to an ODU Baseball Game if it wasnt for Chuy. This is what I mean about how pets help us to create an irresistible life. I do all kinds of things now that I never did before we had a dog!
Yes, Chuy was sporting his NY Yankees shirt that we got in NYC last summer! Hey at least the team colors are the same!
It was a nice day but a little chilly and windy. Of course, everyone knows that baseball games are all about the food! For the first time ever I had Funnel Fries . . . and let me tell you they were worth every single calorie!
One reason I love the games at ODU is that they are so laid back. Theres no assigned seating which means you can move around as much as you want. This comes in handy when you have a 10 lb Chihuahua that gets bored easily. After we got our food, we found the perfect high top table under the bleachers behind the batter. Im sure theres an official name for that seating but me and sports dont mix LOL.
I absolutely love this candid shot of Frank and Chuy watching the game!
It got really cold under there so we decided to try out the bleacher seats which were in the sun. It wasnt any warmer!
I love when I manage to ’accidentally take pics like this! How funny is Chuy with his tongue out?! #TOT!
After we left the game we drove over to the Chinese Pagoda. I absolutely love this place and find it so peaceful. I want to get some professional pictures taken here! We saw lots of people there with a photographer. It was also prom so we saw lots of teenagers all dressed up for their big night.
It turned out to be a pretty perfect afternoon!
I hope you are enjoying the Spring and getting outdoors with your pets. If not, I hope that this inspires you to get out and create an irresistible life with your pets!
