Hey guys! I know it’s been awhile since my last post! I’ve been busy working on designing my new eCourse over at my other blog, Irresistible Icing. The launch date is scheduled for October 1st so I’ve got lots to do here behind the scenes! I mentioned that I was working on a rebranding and that I may possibly combine all of my blogs. For now, I’ve made the decision to keep Irresistible Pets separate. That makes the most sense for now.

Chuy is doing much better since his last IVDD flare up. I haven’t taken many pics as of lately because he was on crate rest but that is over for now. I thought I’d share some of these summer sunset pics for today’s Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop! How is your summer going? Can you believe it’s almost back to school/fall? Ahhh!
These pics were taken at Chix Beach which is a “local’s” beach here in Virginia Beach. A lot of people love this beach because it’s less crowded than the “oceanfront” where all the tourists go. Also, it’s extremely dog friendly and the water is calmer because it’s on the bay side.
I think Chuy needs some sun glasses! haha
We saw this turtle nest that had been roped off so that nobody would mess with the eggs.
The sunset was a little cloudy but a cloudy sunset still beats sitting inside the house any day of the week!

Thanks! We’ve had a lot of turtles this year . . . more than normal. Some are saying that’s why there’s also been more sharks by the coast. Eeeek!

So glad Chuy is feeling better. I hate it when our fur babies don’t feel well.
I have so many fond memories of Chix Beach. I grew up here in Virginia Beach and many times after my parents got home from work in the summer, we would pack up a picnic dinner and eat it on the beach and then my sis and I would play in the sand and water until it got dark.
It’s been a few years since I went to that beach. I should go again for old time’s sake.
