This weekend was like Spring and Winter all in one! We went kayaking on Saturday and the temps were sunny and in the 70’s. By Sunday afternoon it was rainy and freezing! We tried to go for a walk on the boardwalk here in Virginia Beach but the cold front beat us to it. Boo! We’ll have to go back next weekend to check out all the Christmas décor. Hey, at least we managed to snap a few pics before running back to the warm car!
It’s never too cold for dedicated surfers! I don’t know how they can stand that cold water!

Chuy was so excited he didn’t even realize just how cold he was! When it’s this cold you just get back in the car and do your sightseeing from the window!

Wonderful pictures. I can’t imagine anyone surfing in the cold, but I know there are super dedicated people who do it everyday rain or shine, warm or cold.

Thanks! It seems like the worse our weather is, the more surfers come out. Especially right before a hurricane!!
