The bakery that made this birthday cake for Chuy closed so I picked up this Happy Birthday dog bone and sprinkled heart treats from PetSmart.
Obviously Chuy doesn’t care if he gets an extravagant cake or a bone. He’s happy either way!
I got Chuy some birthday gifts including this Happy Birthday Cake toy and Birthday Boy shirt, also from PetSmart,
Can you tell Chuy is a fan of wearing shirts? LOL
After work, we headed out to the beach which is Chuy’s favorite place. We walked around for a little bit and then played and relaxed in the sand. It was a great day!
This was the first birthday we celebrated with Chuy and Catalina. I just love this pic of the two of them enjoying the beach!
We tried to catch a sunset but it was too cloudy. Oh well, this pic is still beautiful!

Happy birthday Chuy! I’m glad to see someone else goes all out for pet birthdays. While I don’t actually know my Tiny’s birthday, we do celebrate every year the day she came into my life. She gets an extra long bath (she loves the water) and then I make her a special meal. Pet birthdays can be just as special as our human ones!

What a great way to celebrate a dog’s birthday! I too ( I think I have already mentioned it on another blog on your website) have a Chihuahua I have been taking care of for her the last couple of month, so technically she’s not my dog. Unfortunately, I do not know her age and when she was born. Maybe I just make up a day!
