Happy 9th Birthday, Chuy!

Today is Chuy’s ninth birthday. We always celebrate Chuy’s birthday with some kind of cake/treats and new toys!  Normally we go out on an adventure or kayaking but today has been raining and storming all day. Boo!

I’m going to keep this lighthearted and not get too sentimental…otherwise I’ll be a sobbing mess. So, enjoy these fun birthday pics with Chuy!

I purchased two gifts for Chuy from the roundup I put together here: 14 Dog Birthday Gift Ideas. I got him the Birthday Present Find a Toy and a Confetti Ball.

We haven’t ordered a custom cake since his fourth birthday. I found a local dog bakery in Virginia Beach called My Best Friends Cupcakes. Next to the cake being absolutely perfect, the best part is that they delivered is right to my house! Thank goodness. I can only imagine a hot cake mess if I had to pick it up myself with an almost two year old baby!

I think it’s safe to say that Chuy thought the cake was irresistible! The cake flavor is banana and peanut butter which are two of his favorite things!

Thank you all for the sweet birthday wishes you have been sending. Chuy is definitely feeling the love!!
