Happy Mother’s Day!
We have a huge announcement to share with you on this Mother’s Day. Chuy is going to be a big brother! That’s right, I’m pregnant with my first baby and due in late October/early November! Well, Chuy will always be my “furst” baby and I will always be his mama.

That’s right! It’s a girl! Chuy will have a baby sister. I can’t believe it! I’m so excited!
OMG, the emotions that run through your head when you’re pregnant are crazy! Thanks, hormones! There were a few days where I was so sad that I would never be able to love both Chuy and my daughter equally. I was terrified that Chuy would feel hurt or ignored with a new baby in the house.
It’s just been Chuy, my husband, and I for the past six years. We do everything together! Chuy and I have a bond that even my husband doesn’t have with him. Chuy and I work together! We eat breakfast and lunch together every single day! He’s been right by my side through the good times and licks my tears on the sad days.
Chuy was my inspiration to quit my job and change my career. I just couldn’t stomach the thought of my little Chuy being home alone 8-10 hours a day. Our lives are so much better because of him.
Now I know that I have room in my heart and my home for both of my babies. I can’t wait to see where the future takes us. I can’t wait to see how Chuy reacts to his little sister. I know that our home will be filled with even more love and happiness.
My heart is overflowing with love and gratitude for my babies. Welcome to the family, baby girl!

That is fantastic Aimee! I’m so happy for you. If Chuy is anything like my Kilo, he will be very protective of the new baby. Kilo thinks my baby grandson is her baby.
