Did you know that today is National Dog Day? I’m still trying to figure out how that’s any different from any other day around here! Wondering how you can celebrate? Here are a few “irresistible” ideas:
1. Take a walk at the beach or your favorite park!
2. Give your dog some extra belly rubs!
3. Make your dog a toy like this DIY rope or DIY water bottle!
4. Make your dog an irresistible treat! We have lots of recipes to get you inspired.
5. Spend an extra few minutes with your dog without your cell phone. Be in THE moment. That’s all they ever really ask of us!

These pics were taken during a recent walk around the neighborhood. I’m so happy to see Chuy walking and wagging his tail after so many episodes of IVDD this summer. As we were walking around the neighborhood, Chuy spotted the first signs of Fall!
The sun was getting ready to set over Stumpy Lake! It was a bit cloudy but on a good day this area has some of the best sunsets in Virginia Beach!
