There’s nothing like fun in the sun, although we must always be vigilant so we don’t get a heatstroke. We like to mix it up a little in the summer and go swimming and also go hiking. In the mountains the temperature is often lower and we have plenty of shade under the thick green canopy, although I think that my darling Kala loves to have fun at the pool with her buddies the most.

Great roundup of topics! I swear if I don’t get my dogs out on the water some way some how this Summer, I will lose my mind! It’s been a goal of mine for several years now. I envy you for all the kayaking trips you take. We will certainly take some vacations away, we usually do every Summer. It’s super hot & humid on Long Island now – Ugh.
