Chuy’s 5th birthday is this Sunday, June 22nd! I can’t even believe I just typed that. Where does the time go? We always celebrate his birthday with a cake. There’s also several free ways to celebrate your dog’s birthday. So in honor of Chuy’s birthday, I’ve rounded up some of the most irresistible dog birthday cake recipes online. We absolutely loved Chuy’s birthday cake last year but unfortunately, the bakery has since gone out of business. I used to own a bakery (for humans) and we had a booth at the Farmer’s Market. While we did make dog treats, I can’t tell you how many times we were asked to make birthday cakes for people’s pets!
My oldest dog turned 13 at the end of last month and we celebrated with a peanut butter pupcake but that Peanut Butter Carrot Doggy Cake would have been awesome and I LOVE the ring of dog bones around the cake in the last picture 🙂
